d&b System reality
Right from the outset it was d&b audiotechnik's approach to build integrated sound reinforcement systems. This system concept, as the embryonic company called it, rests on four maxims that are still valid today.
- Firstly, from inception all elements are formulated to give maximum overall performance.
- Secondly, for simplicity of use, all the user-definable parameters are integrated so that even the uninitiated user has the possibility of adjustment, either via remote control surfaces or directly on the amplifiers.
- Thirdly, the acoustic of the space is separated from the system performance, because d&b believes that the transmission characteristics of the latter have to be completely linear. Hence d&b systems have always had a neutral sound characteristic, leaving the user all the freedom needed to realise whatever the brief.
- Fourthly, d&b believes in the importance of the reproducibility of the system performance worldwide. Not only are the systems the same everywhere, d&b also offers training and seminar sessions, provides substantial technical information and documentation, as well as competent distribution and service who with expert knowledge and committment provide comprehensive support so that the systems achieve the same optimal acoustic result anywhere at anytime. d&b Corporate reality
d&b audiotechnik's Corporate reality rests on exactly the same four maxims as its System reality and applies similar principles everywhere throughout the organization; performance, integration, neutrality, responsibility, commitment, credibility and consistency to create a balance for all stakeholder requirements, be they customers, co-workers, suppliers, owners or the social and ecological environment, into what d&b defines as its Corporate reality.
