The story so far 2010-2011.

2010
Going back as far as 1994 one will find the beginning of the life cycle of a new product offering "greater flexibility, higher sound pressure levels, even better sound quality combined with more compact dimensions," the E3, hereafter alive and kicking for sixteen years. And only succeeded at the beginning of this year by the brand new E6. Smaller and lighter, this powerful new loudspeaker equals or exceeds E3 performance in every way. In contrast, a somewhat bulkier product is launched and decorated three times. In April the B4 passive cardioid subwoofer receives the award for the best loudspeaker by Live Design magazine, then at PLASA 2010 the prestigious Innovation Award followed finally by the Readers' Choice Award of Pro Sound Web. Judges are exceptionally impressed that, rather than using traditional DSP active technology, the B4 applies PSP, Plywood Signal Processing. Meanwhile d&b eagerly keep expanding their world wide distribution competence, be it in Argentina or Chile, in Ukraine or Slovenia, in Vietnam or Thailand or by additional Partners in the USA, to name just a few. With a clear vision in mind: longevity and sustainability.
2011
At the age of thirty d&b breaks with a considerable change in the family of products with the addition of the White range of integration loudspeakers alongside the established Black range. The White range comprises sixteen new loudspeakers all designed for visual, physical, acoustical and electrical integration into permanently installed applications. The worldwide introduction at ISE Amsterdam is well received. Later in the year the d&b product offering shrinks to teenyweeny proportions, not in output power but in dimensions: enter the E-Series E4 and E5 loudspeakers. Whilst on the other hand shrinking is not on the agenda when it comes to international markets, with the appointment of five new distributers in Eastern Europe alongside further expansion in South America with the addition of representation in Brazil and Columbia not forgetting Asia Pacific with a new partner for Indonesia: teenyweeny developments at d&b.
