Frequently answered questions

What are the main differences and output comparison between this and the M4, MAX and MAX12?

The M6 delivers a sound and level comparable to the M4 in the frequency band above approximately 180Hz. Below 180Hz the frequency response gradually reduces compared to the M4. This results in identical gain, average SPL and broadband headroom in the main vocal range for both the M4 and M6.

Apart from weight, the significant difference to the MAX is the greater directivity control of the M6 starting in the midrange, this is crucial for voices.

What subwoofers can be used with the M6?

The Q-SUB, B4-SUB and E15X-SUB will match perfectly with the M6 in Cut mode

How does the M6 compare with the E12 when used as PA?

The M6 (as well as the M4) is designed and tuned for monitor use; this includes optimization for ground coupling effects. Consequently on a loudspeaker stand the E12 will have significantly more warmth and low-end compared to an M6.

Does the M6 have a loudspeaker stand fitting?

Identical to the M4, the M6 cabinets has a loudspeaker stand flange built into one of the handles.

Is the M6 HF horn rotatable?

Yes, the M6 HF horn can be rotated after removing the grill in the same way as the E12.
