Ci7-SUB subwoofer
The Ci7-SUB is the installation version of the C7-SUB. It is acoustically compatible with the standard road version differing only in cabinet construction and mounting hardware. The Ci7-SUB is a bass-reflex subwoofer that employs a large, specially shaped reflex port enabling the Ci7-SUB to achieve high sound pressure levels with minimal power compression and breathing effects. The Ci7-SUB cabinet is constructed from marine plywood with an impact resistant paint finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill, covered with acoustically transparent foam. Four M16 threaded inserts are provided for attaching installation hardware. The cabinet rear panel is fitted with a single NL4 connector. The loudspeaker cabinet is also available in Special Colour (SC) and Weather Resistant (WR) options.
Amplifiers
The Ci7-SUB can be driven either by the d&b D6 or D12 dual channel power amplifiers configured for the C7-SUB. More detailed information on specific loudspeaker setups with d&b amplifiers is available either in the relevant loudspeaker or amplifier manuals.
