The cabinet shall be constructed from marine plywood with an impact resistant paint finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet shall be fitted with a rigid metal grill backed with a replaceable acoustically transparent foam. Each side panel shall incorporate a handle while two runners shall be recessed in the bottom panel to prevent cabinet movement and protect the bottom panel against scratching. The cabinet shall be fitted with NLT4 F/M connectors. NL4, EP5 or NL8 connectors shall be available upon request. The loudspeaker shall only be operated by a dedicated, compatible controller amplifier. The power handling capacity of the LF drivers shall be 500 W RMS and 2000 W peak (10 ms) while the power handling capacity of the HF driver shall be 50 W RMS and 200 W peak (10 ms). The frequency response (–5 dB) measured on axis shall be 57 Hz to 17 kHz with a maximum sound pressure of at least 143 dB. The nominal 45° horizontal dispersion angle shall be maintained from 800 Hz - 10 kHz. The dimensions (W x H x D) shall not exceed 680 x 419 x 560 mm (26.77" x 16.5" x 22.05") and shall weigh no more than 38 kg (83 lb). The loudspeaker shall be the M2 by: d&b audiotechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
