We are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m/x) Touring/Rental Market Iberia to join our team in Barcelona, reporting to the Head of Sales Iberia. The selected person will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the professional audio rental sector at a national level. This is a strategic role. The place of work is the Barcelona office, with the option of remote work depending on home location.
Well then, here are your tasks as a Sales Manager (f/m/x) Touring/Rental Market Iberia at d&b:
- Management of a customer portfolio with a focus on companies involved in the rental of professional audio equipment
- Responsibility for sales in the specified region (Iberia)
- Acquisition and development of new accounts in the national market.
- Collaborating with our distributors' sales staff and training them to identify and create important sales opportunities in the region. Planning visits and commercial activities aimed at companies in the industry (concerts, corporate events, shows, etc.)
- Early identification of potential projects
- Determination of technical requirements for the area
- Ensuring that our company and our sales partners meet customer needs
- Regular review of sales partners to identify service needs and usage trends and to determine services/products and prices that meet customer needs and company objectives
- Act as a functional link between the company, sales partners and customers
- Communicating the d&b brand, policies and procedures
- Provide product development information on global products
- Ensure that customers are informed about current and future product releases and plans and are involved in the process as needed
- Monitor industry and market trends
- Developing the region's full sales potential
- Implementing the agreed go-to-market strategy for the region
- Building relationships with Tier 1 companies and key rental companies
- Developing the capabilities and potential of existing sales channels
- Reporting on the market situation and opportunities
- Preparing monthly business reports
- B2B sales process management

- Academic background: University studies or FP2
- Several years of experience as a B2B sales person in the audiovisual sector or in a similar role
- Being capable to combine technical expertise with a commercial perspective
- Thrives on fulfilling customers’ requirements with an appropriate, high quality solution
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to represent a market-leading, premium brand
- Frequent travelling in Spain and Portugal, with the occasional trip to the Headquarter in Germany and other locations in EMEA
- Solid knowledge of professional sound equipment
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems
- Possession of a full, clean driver's license
- Knowledge of Salesforce and ArrayCalc software is desired
- Previous experience as a sales representative in the professional audio systems sector, specifically in the touring/rental market, is preferred
