Regional Support – Mid Atlantic (Home based, must live in one of the following states: DC, DE, IN, KY, MD, NC, OH, PA, SC, VA, WV)

Summary of the position:
The Regional Support-Mid Atlantic is a US-based position with a focus on Education and Application Support (EAS ) and Sales Support development and coordination in cooperation with a Regional Manager. This person would be primarily responsible for the technical development and oversight of active and developing accounts in a given US geographical region. Moreover, this position is required to participate in a technical or support capacity at any on-site activity to enhance d&b system performance and positive brand recognition.

  • Work directly with a Regional Manager to qualify and develop the technical requirements of Sales Partners, Dealers, and identified target companies in order to strengthen our distribution
  • Support Regional Managers as they promote and maintain product awareness via private or public activity
  • Proactive planning of regional sales or support based activities to introduce or strengthen the d&b brand
  • Provide project application support as required to projects within region or of accounts within region
  • Participation in any d&b event held in the region of assignment
  • Develop direct relationships with technical contacts via pre-sale and post-sale communication and follow up to accounts, venues, or end-users
  • Represent the brand, technology, and company passion in the assigned region and beyond.
  • Collaborate with other departments (US + globally) and the distribution network to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Skills and abilities:
  • Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of all d&b products and their applications via study, presentation, and practical application.
  • Maintain proper communication techniques (both written and verbal) to interface with Consultants, Integrators, Production Houses, Influencers, Sales Partners, and End Users (basically, users of all experience and skill levels).
  • Solid understanding of professional audio systems from an application and operational standpoint.
  • Development of conceptual knowledge of the pro audio industry and the markets we serve as a product line and a premium brand.
  • Must be able to solve problems of a technical nature and make decisions.
  • A high level of company representation with other industry professionals and at various exhibitions and functions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills with superior ability presented in verbal and written forms.
  • Exceptional focus on customer satisfaction and service.
  • Available for frequent domestic travel and, on occasion, international travel.
Education and experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the professional audio industry in an outward (public) facing technical position
  • Proven understanding and applicable knowledge of professional loudspeaker systems
  • Depth of knowledge in the application of console technologies, control systems, and audio design tools
