44S采用无源两分频设计，采用两个4.5”钕磁钢低频驱动单元和两个安装在可旋转CD号角上的1.25"高频圆顶高音音箱，可轻松转动，实现90° x 30°覆盖模式。

可使用选配d&b Z5427.000 44S后箱将音箱嵌入安装至天花板或墙壁中，可采用、水平和垂直方向安装。44S采用不对称箱体形状设计，可在后箱内以五度为增量调节+/- 20°的覆盖角度。

可独立使用，也可与d&b超低频音箱配套使用。

音箱采用注塑成型，配有防撞漆饰面。音箱箱体正面由刚性金属网罩保护。后部面板配备两个M8螺纹嵌件，可连接到不同的吊挂配件。箱体和大多数配件均可使用从RAL颜色中选出的定制颜色（SC）。
