The new front of house.

Leading sound designers from very different worlds discuss the revolution suggested by d&b audiotechnik’s Soundscape platform. Two leading operators have seen the future already:

  • Grammy award winning Tony David Cray is a sound designer specializing in major outdoor events he’s also a busy live sound and recording engineer.
  • Touring FOH engineer Serge Gräfe has mixed all of Kraftwerk’s recent ‘3D’ shows as the pioneering German outfit continues to push the boundaries of audio and video – quite literally.

Following months of analysis and first-hand, real-world use of Soundscape with their hugely divergent artists, they came together recently to share their revelations and to discover that they have much more in common than it might at first appear.
