If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.

Furthermore, data may be stored if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject. If this involves information on communication channels (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), you also agree that we may contact you via this communication channel in order to respond to your request.
You can of course revoke this consent at any time in the future. Please contact our data protection officer, whose contact details you will find below.

Pardot Marketing Automation System
Marketing Automation Cookies
We use these cookies from third parties to track your user behavior on our website. From the moment you leave personal data on the website (e.g. by using the contact form, or subscribing to the newsletter), your user behavior is merged with existing entries in our Salesforce CRM system and with newsletter tracking data. The profiling data is than stored in the CRM system and used in order to be able to send you targeted advertising and offers that meet your interests.
Newsletter dispatch and success measurement with Pardot
Pardot by the Pardot LLC (950 E. Paces Ferry Rd. Suite 3300 Atlanta, GA 30326, USA) is also used to dispatch and measure the success of our newsletter. The legal basis is article 6 (1) a) GDPR. We use the so-called "double opt-in" procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after you have entered your e-mail address, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm this within 30 days, your registration will be deleted. If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, we will store your e-mail address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The storage serves the sole purpose of sending you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store your IP address and the time of registration and confirmation in order to prevent misuse of your personal data. The provision of further, separately marked information is voluntary and is only used to personalise the newsletter. This data will also be completely deleted upon revocation. We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. We use Pardot as an analysis tool for this purpose. The evaluation is carried out via so-called "web-beacons" in the newsletter e-mails sent. Web-beacons are small graphics in the e-mail, which enable a log file recording and log file analysis when opening the e-mail. For the analysis Pardot links the data for the registration of the e-mail newsletter and the information from the "web-beacons" with your e-mail address and an individual ID. The evaluations serve the purpose to recognize the reading habits of our users and to send content according to their interests. You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter e-mail, or by contacting the data protection officer at the contact details below. Your data will not be passed on to third parties other than pardot/salesforce.

We will not transfer your data to third parties outside the d&b Group, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the transfer of data is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, or you have given your express prior consent to the transfer of your data. External service providers and partner companies only receive your data if this is necessary to process their request. In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the required minimum. As far as our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we ensure that they comply with the regulations of the data protection laws in the same way. Please also note the respective data protection information of the providers. So-called cookies are used in some areas of our pages. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard drive by a website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. The cookies on our Internet pages do not collect any personal data. We use the information contained in cookies to make it easier for you to use our pages and to tailor them to your needs.
Both session cookies and permanent cookies are used on our site. Session cookies are temporary cookies that are stored in the user's Internet browser until the browser window is closed and the session cookies are deleted. Permanent cookies are used for repeated visits and stored in the user's browser for a certain period of time (usually 1 year or longer). These cookies are not deleted when the browser is closed. This type of cookie is used to reuse a user's preferences when they return to the site.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. If you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, you can deactivate the corresponding option in the system settings of your browser. You can delete saved cookies at any time in the system settings of your browser. You can find out how this works in detail from your browser manufacturer's instructions. However, we would like to point out that our website may only be of limited use without cookies.
This website uses Google Analytics. In accordance with the agreement between Google and the Hamburg Representative for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Google Analytics may be used in accordance with data protection regulations and without objection under certain conditions. In particular, we would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended to include the IP masking function "_gat._anonymizeIp" in order to guarantee anonymous recording of IP addresses via the Google Tag Manager.
Please also note the following information on the use of Google Analytics:
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
Once remarketing and promotional reporting features are enabled in Analytics, Analytics collects demographic and interest data from the following sources:
DoubleClick cookie: Analytics collects all demographic and interest information made available by the cookie when you use the web browser.
Android Advertising ID: When the analytics tracking code is implemented in an Android app, the device's advertising ID is collected. Analytics generates an identifier based on the ID. This identifier contains information about demographics and interests resulting from user app activity and is used to enhance the attractiveness of our app.
iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA): When the analytics tracking code is implemented in an iOSApp, the device's IDFA is captured. In Analytics, an identifier is generated based on the IDFA. This identifier contains information about demographics and interests resulting from user app activity and is used to enhance the attractiveness of our app.
Analytics cannot collect demographic and interest data if the DoubleClick cookie or device advertising ID is not present or no activity profile is included.
Alternatively, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your data from being collected in the future when you visit this website: Deactivate Google Analytics. The opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and only to this domain. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you have to click this link again.
As a smartphone or tablet user, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting cookies by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your information from being collected in the future when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics.
Our website uses Google Optimize, a Web analytics and optimization service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Optimize enables us to present new functions and content on our website to just a percentage of our users and record the changing use of our website. In turn, this allows us to evaluate which version best reflects the preferences and expectations of visitors to our website.
The legal basis for the storage of Google Optimize cookies is Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize our website.
This website uses the function "Google Signals". The Google Signals advertising feature is designed to provide additional information about users of the site who use different devices. Google uses data from users who have signed in to their Google Account and enabled the "personalized advertising" option. This information will be used to provide aggregate and anonymous statistics about the behavior of users of this site across multiple devices. No user IDs are assigned, the reports do not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of individual visitors.
If visitors to this website are logged into their Google account, Google may be able to identify these visitors. In addition, Google may use the user data for the display of personalised advertising if the user has previously consented to this function. If you do not wish this to happen, you can deactivate this function at any time in the Google settings (https://adssettings.google.com). Alternatively, you can make use of the extensive opt-out option of the advertising network initiative (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1).
Double Click AdExchange
We use Doubleclick Ad Exchange, a web ad service of Google Inc, USA (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, "Google"), advertising (text ads, banners etc.) on our website. Cookies may be stored in your browser. The information stored there can be recorded, collected and evaluated by Google Inc. or third parties.
In addition, Doubleclick Ad Exchange also uses "web beacons", small invisible graphics, through which visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, collected and evaluated, to collect information. The information collected in this way about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses it to analyze your usage behavior so that it can serve targeted ads via Doubleclick Ad Exchange. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. If IP addresses are transmitted and stored, this only happens to combat and filter spam/fraud.
However, this data is only accessible to the anti-abuse teams. Google does not associate the IP address with other data stored by Google.
Remarketing or "similar target group" function of Google Inc.
This website uses Google's Google AdWords remarketing or "similar target group" function. This feature is designed to provide targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising to users of our site and other users with similar interests based on their online user behavior when they visit other sites on the Google Display Network or perform a Google search. When our advertisements are displayed on these sites, we receive information about how often our ad was viewed, how many clicks and visits were generated by a particular ad, and what content was viewed when you clicked on an ad on our site.
Cookies are used to record visits to the website by means of a unique identification of a web browser on a particular computer and not to identify a person. All data is stored by using a pseudonym, so that a conclusion on the person of the user and thus a personal identification is not easily possible.
Further information on Google Remarketing or "Similar target groups" can be found at: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2676774?hl=en.
In order to draw attention to our services, we place Google AdWords ads and use Google Conversion Tracking and the Google Tag Manager for the purpose of personalised, interest- and location-based online advertising. The option to anonymize IP addresses is controlled by the Google Tag Manager via an internal setting that is not visible in the source of this page. This internal setting is set so that the anonymisation of the IP addresses required by the German Federal Data Protection Act is achieved.
Ads appear after searches on Google Network web pages. We have the possibility to combine our ads with certain search terms. Cookies enable us to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to our website.
With the help of this technology, Google and we as customers receive information that a user has clicked on an ad and has been redirected to our websites. The information obtained in this way is used exclusively for statistical evaluation for ad optimization. We do not receive any information that personally identifies visitors. The statistics provided to us by Google include the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and, if applicable, whether they were forwarded to a page of our website with a conversion tag. On the basis of these statistics we can trace the search terms for which our advertisement was clicked particularly often and which advertisements lead to contact by the user via the contact form.
The information obtained in this way is transferred to our CRM system via the Google ClickID via an interface (Web to Lead).
If you do not wish to do so, you can prevent the storage of the cookies required for these technologies, for example via the settings of your browser. In this case, your visit is not included in the user statistics.
However, we and Google continue to receive statistical information on how many users visited this page and when. If you do not want to be included in these statistics either, you can prevent this by using additional programs for your browser (for example, the Ghostery add-on).
Google Data Studio
We use Data Studio, a service of Google Inc., USA (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, "Google") on our website.
Data Studio uses personally identifiable information provided through the other Google services mentioned here and used by us to help us create reports, graphs, and charts, and to provide us with an opportunity to collaborate with them.
Google Tag Manager
For reasons of transparency, we would like to point out that we use the Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager itself does not collect any personally identifiable information. The Tag Manager makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small pieces of code used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behavior, capture the impact of online advertising and social channels, set up remarketing and targeting, and test and optimize websites. If you have made a opt-out, the Google Tag Manager will take that opt-out into account. For more information about the Google Tag Manager, click here: www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html
In order to draw attention to our services, we place Bing Ads ads (a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). These ads appear in the Bing, Yahoo! and MSN search engines after searches are made through the Yahoo! bing network. This also gives us the opportunity to combine our ads with specific search terms, giving us a presence on all major search engines.
In addition, we use Bing Ads conversion tracking to display interest-based advertising for Bing Ads. This requires an analysis of user behavior. Bing only provides us with information about clicks on ads and users being redirected to our website. We use the information obtained in this way exclusively for statistical evaluation for ad optimization. We are not able to identify the visitor through the collected data. The statistics provided to us by Bing include the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads. In addition, we also receive information about whether these visitors have been redirected to a page of our website that has been tagged with a conversion tag. These statistics enable us to track which search terms have led to a particularly high number of clicks on our ads and which ads lead to users contacting us via the contact form. The purpose of Bing Ads Conversion Tracking is to display interest-related advertisements, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a more economic assessment of our advertising costs.
You can prevent the Bing cookie from being set by making appropriate settings in our cookie content management tool. Information on the duration of storage and other data protection issues can be found at https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.
Monotype Web Font
We use Web Fonts from Monotype Imaging Holdings, Inc. a Delaware-based company headquartered in 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801 USA, to consistently display certain fonts on our website.
When you visit our website, your browser connects to a server that downloads the fonts you need directly from Monotype to display them correctly on your device. We use social plugins from various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, WhatsApp) on our website.
The plugins allow you to share and comment on content. You can recognize the plugin by the individual logo of the social network.
Under certain circumstances, personal data can also be transmitted to the providers via the plug-ins. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the website. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data collected with the help of the plugins.
To prevent unwanted data transfer, the plugins on this website are deactivated by default. Only with a click on the respective symbol the plugin is activated and data can be transferred to the provider. Activating the plugin establishes a connection between your browser and the social network server. The plugins can of course be deactivated at any time
If the plugins are activated, information such as your IP address, a message that you have visited our site and other browser-related information is already transmitted when you call up our page.
If you are logged in to the respective social network, this information can be assigned to your account. If the plugin is active, it sends information regardless of whether you are currently logged in or have an active account. When you visit our website, a cookie is stored in your browser which stores this information and transmits it to the social network the next time you visit it.
We offer you the possibility to log in via an existing social media account (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Xing, Youtube) through our website. In this case, you do not need a new user name and password to register.
You will be forwarded via the respective button (Login with Facebook, Login with Twitter) to the website of the social media provider and requested to authenticate yourself with your user name and password. If you are already logged in, this step is not necessary. You will then be informed of the data and authorizations we receive from the respective provider. If you agree, confirm this by clicking on the button "OK" (Facebook), "Authorize App" (Twitter). Finally, you will be automatically redirected back to us and can use our services.
If you log in via a social media provider, your IP address will be transmitted. In addition, the respective social media provider is informed about the access to our site; furthermore, an assignment to the respective user account can be made. Whether personal data is also transmitted depends on the data protection regulations of the respective provider.
Advertising and campaigns via social media
If we carry out advertising and campaigns via social media, we would like to point out that we have no influence on data processing in the social networks. If we collect data from you there, the data will only be collected for the purpose for which you have provided it to us.
In order to carry out our online surveys, we use the QuestionPro tool from QuestionPro GmbH, Friedrichstrasse 171, 10117 Berlin, Germany. Participation in the surveys is voluntary by clicking the URL provided. The information from your survey will be sent in encrypted form to the survey administrator and will be transferred automatically to our CRM system.

Your name, e-mail address, IP address and device information, as well as your telephone number for dial-in via telephone, will be transmitted to Zoom for the creation and maintenance of the webinar. You do not need to activate your video camera or actively participate in the webinar. Messages exchanged in the chat are not stored, but are automatically deleted at the end of the videoconference. Please note that the webinars themselves are recorded and made available in the portal. We have also concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the provider in accordance with Article 46 (2) c) GDPR. The legal basis for the collection, processing and use of your data for the purpose of conducting the webinar is Article 6 (1) b) GDPR.

The data is stored for the duration of the contract and in accordance with legal obligations. As far as necessary for the processing of the order, we forward your address data to a shipping service provider. The legal basis is the conclusion and execution of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR.
For payment processing, we use various payment service providers, which are always identified and accept your input. They are recipients of your personal data collected in connection with the payment process. The legal basis for the involvement of payment service providers is also the execution of the contract according to Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR.

You can use the "Consult an expert" function to ask local d&b experts questions about our products. When you contact us, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number) will be stored in order to answer your questions and process your requests.
