MIPA awards Best PA System 2010 to the d&b audiotechnik T-Series.

The Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) has named the d&b T-Series Best PA System 2010. The year’s most successful instruments and equipment were nominated and voted for by more than one hundred journalists writing for special interest magazines around the world. The annual MIPA awards, regarded as the Grammy of the musical instrument and pro audio industry, takes place each year at the Pro Light + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt.

With its unobtrusive cabinet design, compact dimensions, high power and exemplary directivity performance, T-Series is ideal for speech and music reproduction in small to medium sized applications. Featuring a unique combination of rotatable horn and acoustic lens coupled within the loudspeaker grill assembly, T-Series can adapt, without tools, from a multiple cabinet line array to a single stand-alone solution.

On receiving the award, a spokesperson at d&b commented: “The T-Series is the result of a fixation at d&b for making systems flexible, efficient, and easy to use. Judging by the enthusiasm we’ve seen from customers and users, and now MIPA, confirms just how much innovation in these areas matters in the market. This award is a valued acknowledgement that T-Series is delivering that all important ‘little bit extra’.”
