d&b to showcase innovative audio technologies and new comprehensive solution offering at ISE 2021 Live and online.
German audio technology and solutions company d&b is providing show-goers at ISE 2021 a full range of technology solutions both online, and face to face in Barcelona [Stand B-104, Hall 2] from June 1-4.

Among the innovative solutions being showcased at this year’s show are Soundscape [comprising the DS100 signal matrix processor plus the En-Space and En-Scene software modules for sound object positioning and room emulation respectively], the powerful 40D high-performance installation amplifier and the A-Series augmented array loudspeakers.
The d&b ISE 2021 Barcelona ISE demonstration programme will be held at renowned live music venue and concert hall Sala Apolo, where two days of carefully socially-distanced Soundscape sessions will take place. Guests are invited to experience the leading immersive audio system and its unrivaled, high-performance, multichannel toolkit for venues and events of all sizes.

A-Series augmented array loudspeakers
The d&b audiotechnik A-Series introduces a unique speaker concept that occupies the space between conventional line array and horizontal array formats to present system designers with a new flexible solution for both installation and mobile event situations. With flexible splay angles, mid range directivity control and full array processing options, d&b A Series addresses medium scale applications where the highest level of coverage flexibility is paramount. Arrays of two to four loudspeakers can be deployed horizontally or vertically, covering areas of 50 to 150 degrees. Realizing all the adaptability of a point-source cluster with the extensive control options of a d&b line array, the system comprises the AL60 and AL90 speakers, with ALi60 and ALi90 offering cabinets designed specifically for permanent installation.
40D Amplifier
The 40D high-performance installation amplifier has been engineered specifically for fixed installation applications and is d&b’s most powerful, four-channel, class-D installation amplifier. The 40D features a 4.3-inch color touchscreen display showing a range of speaker settings, device status and more.
d&b Soundscape
Soundscape, allows designers to create high resolution localisation and imaging of sound objects and is suitable for applications where the end goal is to utilise sound as a creative tool to increase audience engagement and immersion. The d&b Soundscape allows for the positioning of up to 64 sound objects freely within the sound design and can modify or create emulated acoustic signatures, both indoors and outdoors. It is suitable for a wide range of applications from theaters, houses of worship, live concerts, clubs and corporate events.
DS100 Signal Engine
A d&b Soundscape system comprises: the DS100 Signal Engine, and two software modules, En-Scene, for object-based positioning; and En-Space for room-emulation. With comprehensive system configuration, control and matrix functionality the DS100 can operate in a standalone system management mode or be combined with one or both of two software modules to create a Soundscape.
