The DN2 Ethernet PoE++ Switch is the easiest way to supply power along with audio and control data to d&b U-Series networked loudspeakers. The device offers single-cable operation with up to 90 watts via Power over Ethernet (PoE) at all 8 ports simultaneously. Already preconfigured for the Milan-AVB protocol out of the box, it transforms AV installation work and allows any electrician to power advanced audio systems with a standard Ethernet connection. With primary / secondary network detection and error indication, it greatly simplifies redundancy setup by automatically changing its IP address when necessary. The DN2 is particularly well suited to d&b Soundscape systems, which might have loudspeakers in hard-to-reach places. It is compatible with R1 Remote control software and integrated into the d&b Workflow. The device also has a threated insert, so it can be easily mounted on rigging or a truss for applications where equipment should not be visible. A 1 RU device, the DN2 has 8 IEEE 802.1BA-certified Ethernet ports with connection speeds of 100 or 1000 Mbit/s. All ports feature rugged etherCON® connectors.
