DN1 Ethernet switch

The DN1 Ethernet switch is an integral part of the d&b system network infrastructure based on Milan™/AVB and offers an optimized feature set to support the d&b workflow. The DN1 is certified by the Avnu Alliance® and supports Milan™/AVB, AES70/OCA, Dante® and standard IP traffic simultaneously. It takes a zero-configuration, plug-and-play approach that requires no switch management skills or extensive IT knowledge. For example, the DN1 automatically detects a primary or secondary Milan™ stream on each port and indicates miswiring. DN1 greatly simplifies the setup of network redundancy, automatically switching its own IP address when configured to primary or secondary network.

It features eleven IEEE 802.1BA-certified Ethernet ports with connection speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. Three of these ports are located on the front panel with etherCON® connectors. Two of these front ports provide 15 W PoE for devices such as d&b ArraySight. The DN1 is housed in a rugged 1 RU x 9.5" chassis. Two DN1 devices can be rack mounted side-by-side for compact network redundancy.
