Simplifying the creation of complex venues in ArrayCalc, the d&b ArrayCalc Exchange extension supports system designers in mobile and fixed applications. d&b ArrayCalc Exchange works with 3D design software SketchUp. After successful installation of the extension, a «d&b ArrayCalc Exchange» entry will be added to the «Extensions» menu within SketchUp.
Using ArrayCalc Exchange, EASE and CAD data that have been imported into SketchUp can be exported as an ArrayCalc venue file (*.dbacv), which can then be loaded directly into ArrayCalc. Selected layers are divided into triangles and converted into triangular planes that are used in ArrayCalc. Different layer name extensions are available, which will determine the input type of the single components from SketchUp in ArrayCalc.
